Lartigue's Original Fresh Seafood Market

Walked into the store and immediately greeted, wife was just going in to grab her a ready bake meal. I was positive they would have nothing I liked as I don’t like seafood. That is so wrong!!! They have everything for someone and for everyone they have something! Beyond friendly and super nice all the way till we left! THE TAKE AND BAKE MEALS!!!! They are so good and will fill you up once if not twice!! I had the chicken and sausage jambalaya she had the shrimp scampi, she couldn’t get no more off the tin!! Amazing to have right behind your condo, but also worth a 25 minute drive hands down! The place is hardly seen in my picture but was legit a walk across the road!

I rarely review anything because I usually forget but if you are in gulf shores/orange beach don’t skip this place. They have frozen entrees that are OUT OF THIS WORLD! So many options. We will likely never eat out again while in orange beach. The steamed shrimp is A+++. Remoulade and Cajun cheesy crab dip absolutely rocked our world. Down to earth nice family ran business. You have business from East TN forever!!

Every single time we come to Orange Beach we have to come here. When you come with a big family it’s so nice to get fresh seafood and enjoy it at your condo. Plus, we buy the gumbo and eat on it all week for lunch. Those crab stuffed baked potatoes are so yummy. I bought their cookbook so Hopi g to take it back to Nashville and duplicate when I can’t be there in person.

Coming here was one of the first times I visited a fish market in the south. I was blown away by the selection and freshness. They even let us have a free shrimp sample which was delicious. We ended up buying about two pounds of mud pups and they were delicious. The staff was extemely friendly and offered advice on how to cook everything and also offered to steam it for us too. Lartigue's Original Fresh Seafood is a popular seafood restaurant in Orange Beach, Alabama that offers a wide range of fresh seafood dishes. We had the opportunity to get their cooked crawfish and some shrimp while visiting during spring break. Live crawfish are a delicacy in Southern cuisine and Lartigue's Original Fresh Seafood takes great pride in their preparation of this dish. The crawfish are sourced fresh from local suppliers and cooked in a large pot with a mix of spices and they would not disclose too much but did say they are the best on the Island!! LOL. The result is a delicious and flavorful dish that is sure to satisfy any seafood lover. Be the way, their potatoes are awesome since they roasted with some seasoning. This much better than just boiled potatoes. Overall, if you're a fan of seafood and looking for a unique and flavorful dish to try, their crawfish and shrimp! It is definitely the best shrimp we got while on vacation.
